Missy Elliot fans are asking MAC Cosmetics to create a collection inspired by the rapper’s colorful beauty looks. Since it worked for Selena, (and was such a success the line sold out in 24 hours), Elliot fans are hoping the brand will pay attention.   

Fans, such as JanYE (@thefathippy_) are tweeting messages like the one shown above, which currently has 24k “likes” and 16k retweets. 

Elliot was a MAC Viva Glam ambassador in 2004. 

Aaliyah Fans Also Want to Be Heard 

Fans of the late R&B singer Aaliyah are also rying to get MAC’s attention, with a Change.org petition that has more than 22k signatures, and an Instagram account, @AaliyahforMAC.
